Filming began in the UK in mid-April 2026, with reported locations across Scotland and North Wales, including Dinorwic Quarry, Dolbadarn Castle and Conwy Castle - all locations well suited to the game's ruined-castle, mountain-and-quarry aesthetic. Substantial studio-built sets were also constructed at Greenwich Naval College in South London.
