Casting reports, set leaks and "sources say" claims about the Elden Ring movie tend to spread fast and lose their caveats along the way. This page exists so there's always one place to check what's actually been confirmed, what's still just a report or a leak, and what's since been confirmed after starting life as a rumour.

Going back through everything on this page, the pattern that stands out to me is that the casting reports have basically a perfect hit rate - Kit Connor, Ben Whishaw, Cailee Spaeny and Nick Offerman were all reported individually months ahead of time and every single one landed exactly as described once the full cast dropped in April. The production-detail rumours are the shakier category - the "six months" vs "four-month shoot" discrepancy on the wrap being the obvious current example, where two outlets reported the same underlying event but with details that don't quite line up. So if I had to bet going forward: trust the trade casting reports, treat the behind-the-scenes production specifics as directionally right but not precise until A24 confirms. Anyone tracking this differently?
